The maximum value engine upgrade is live

ASA Stats has reached another milestone. Today we instigate our newest ASA price optimization algorithms.

ASA Stats brings maximum value to users' assets by calculating the maximum value of the ASA held in their wallet as well as the optimal amounts that should be sold on each of the AMMs or DEXes to the users.

What is the optimum price and why is price optimization important?

• The optimal price is that price point at which the total profit of the seller is maximized.
• When the price is too low, the seller is moving a large number of units but is not earning the highest possible aggregate profit.

What is price optimization?

• Price optimization is the process of finding the optimal value of a given ASA.
• The current price of ASA is retrieved from all the available AMMs and DEXes in a way that brings the maximum value for the user asset.
• This is achieved by calculating current liquidities and/or volumes for that asset on all AMMs and DEXes, and by providing the optimal amounts that should be sold on each of the AMMs or DEXes to the users.

Implementation

The distribution section is visible by default for your account's balance if there's more than one source for the calculated value:

If there's only a single source then the balance section is represented the same way as before, with a swap link under the asset's value row.

In this upgrade, we have also improved our proxy pool functionality. The way how those proxy pools are calculated and presented has changed, while the only ASA we calculate that way for now is Freckle VIP:

Nevertheless, a cornerstone for the future usage of such a proxy functionality is established and it's expected that we take advantage of that functionality in the future for some other tokens too.

Every Algo value represented on the right side carries its own distribution process. For the sake of visual simplicity those distribution entries are hidden by default, reveal them by clicking the Algo value:

We're expecting your bug reports in our issues section and suggestions here in this thread. Bear in mind that the engine currently isn't specially optimized for holders of large amounts of ASAs so you'll get different value with every refresh. Also, we don't dismiss dust values yet - if some pool has the biggest price accompanied with rather small liquidity, we'll present it in the distribution section no matter if exchange fees are larger than the actual value you'd get.

Last but not least, in order to compensate for the increased number of calculations, we had to optimize our engine for speed. We're glad we can say that you may expect more than 100% faster responses from now on. :)
