alphaarcade.com is currently in testnet, but, I'm putting this issue in for when it goes to mainnet in case some research can be done beforehand.

The site allows you to "bet" on different outcomes. Essentially you are buying tokens that represent your "bet". They can go up and down in value but after the event has occurred you can either redeem each token for $1 or for $0. There is documentation on the site that explains better.

If an api is needed or some other way to check token price, I'm happy to help coordinate that with the developer. Hopefully it can be accomplished on chain though. Thanks.

Thanks for requesting this, the research will take place as soon as the prioritized user system is deployed.

We have implemented a similar project VenueOne.

We lean on providers' API only for off-chain projects; in this case, we'll be fetching data from our Node instance.

Btw, the rule of thumb, or better to say a policy, is not to spend time on development before a project hits the Mainnet because there are no guarantees they will reach that phase.
