Some questions raised by @astrofrog regarding the metadata field in the object payload. Some points of discussion (add what I forgot):

The metadata can be passed as part of object payload and might be useful
For now it will be ignored in the early broker impl.
We should limit the metadata schema to a smaller "core" subset, so that we don't push a lot of unused information around and also to keep the payload small

Anything I missed?
