adb -d shell settings put global hidden_api_policy 1 still shows Private APIs not granted #926

all the other adb commands worked but it still shows "Private APIs not granted" am I missing something?

This happens on my oneplus 6 and moto g stylus 2022

I was facing the same issue on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Once I disconnected the USB cord and restarted the phone, it got resolved.

Same issue here on s23 ultra. Haven't tried restart yet.
