Organize and schedule announcement live stream #941
Comments
YouTube is already scheduled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YREb9wuYCOA |
@asyncapi/tsc_members @asyncapi/ambassadors @GreenRover @peter-rr @Amzani and all the docs contributors (@alequetzalli please help me tag them 🙏) Can I count on you to be present on this live stream? It's scheduled for December 6th at 15:00h UTC (see it in your time zone). This should be a celebration of what we're able to achieve together. And we may have some good surprises! 😄 |
I saved the date. do we should visit the Youtube link or via zoom? |
I'll include all the details soon. Most likely a Zoom meeting 👍 |
You might be aware, but this date/time clashes with the https://www.apidays.global/paris/ conference which many including myself will attend. |
Yes, that's on purpose. This is just an announcement live stream. Probably taking 30 minutes only. We're doing it on the first day of the conference so our community there can engage in conversations with those interested in knowing more. |
Sure! I'll be attending, count on me 😄 |
Can't miss this one! Count me in, please. |
do my best to attend |
any updates on this, @fmvilas ? |
I'll schedule a Zoom meeting and will share the details on Slack and the AsyncAPI calendar 👍 |
@dalelane and everyone else watching. Here is the link to join tomorrow's announcement on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86110651797. It's on the AsyncAPI calendar too. It will start at 15:00h UTC. Let's celebrate! ❤️ |
That was a ton of fun 😄 Thanks for joining folks! 🙌 |
We should have a live stream scheduled for the day of the announcement. During the two weeks before, we should be loud on social networks with the option to subscribe on YouTube to get notified for when we come live. cc @thulieblack
We should try to have as many people there as possible. Especially, those who have been contributing to the spec and tools to make it happen.
We should designate someone as host and come up with a structure for the live stream.
This is a good opportunity to run a contest.
