Slash command menu clicks not working

Problem
Slash commands menu is not working. When clicking one of the slash command menu dropdown items, nothing happens. The command is not turned into its text command or outcome. E.g. clicking current time does not result in anything.
I tested in current https://web.athensresearch.org/
as well as in the current docker installation.
