Hello
I have an issue with audio router since I upgraded to Windows 11 : it seems that I don't have the rights to route audio "Access is denied. Router fonctionnality not available". Here is the message I have when I try to duplicate or even to route.
I don't have this issue with opera, but with netflix, disney+ and other streaming apps.

What I need actually is to duplicate audio to have it on 2 bluetooth devices at the same time.
I don't have this issue with opera, but with netflix, disney+ and other streaming apps.

I really need your help, please !

Same problem, I don't know how to fix it.

Media from streaming services often have HDCP to prevent copying multimedia (which could then be used for pirating). Audio Router would need to illegally break the encryption and decode the HDCP information to re-route audio.

also this tool has lastly been updated 7 years ago for some win10 bug, so it is nowhere nearly usefull in win 11 anymore

even since win10 you can control app volume indenpendently but still is missing the split/duplication feature

please explain what the actual splitting of the channel is even useful for, because i use a setup where i can sontrol almost every aspect and never needed splitting or duplication of a certain stream

SO IF THIS FOLLOWING SETUP DOES NOT FIT YOUR NEEDS I AM SORRY FOR WASTING YOUR TIME READING IT

i am using a little more elaborate solution with VB-cables running as several layers controlled with potato voice meeter like in painting tools or debuglevels in logfiles to put up a metaphor, each virtual channel has a certain level and can combine or exclude other layers, so i can choose which layer to listen to and which layer to stream

f.e:

system layer -> not streamed, but audible in headset
game layer -> streamed and audible in the headset with different audio levels (system default for output)
music layer -> selectively streamed and selectively audible with different level
voice layer (TS, discord, etc.) -> selectively streamed and audible in the headset with different level (system default for communication)
mic layer -> not a VB cable but as configurable audio channel, can be mapped on top of other channels or outputs

using the tools is a little bit of a learning curve at first but it is worth the work to setup properly and also it is all donation ware, you can test it free with limitations (10 seconds mute every few minutes if i remmeber right) and donate to get a license in the end
