If the paginator is not visible initially, for instance is placed in another tab, it looks too narrow.

Can you show an example, possibly in a jsfiddle? The only thing I noticed is that if the display is set to none and then you make it visible, it needs to be refreshed. In that case if you just run rPage() on that element it gets refreshed and works.
