Regions API Delete action do not delete corresponding data (Regions and Polygons) from Stac Server.

API having ability to send optional parameter to hard delete all data (including DynamoDB and Opensearch) would be helpful and saves manual delete efforts from consumers.

Use Cases:

  1. Reload Grower, Farms, Fields data.
  2. Under GDPR rules; have to hard delete all the data.
