Describe the Migration Issue

This is exactly the same as #1854

This issue was closed as completed, but the comments seem to imply it should be closed as "wontfix".

There is no supporting documentation, and the CLI, interface, as well as SDKs for other language, still mention simpleDB.

If simpleDB is deprecated, please link to an official document, rather than providing an opinion.

If services are going to be dropped from the JS SDK only, without documentation or notice, it can't be considered a viable product on par with other supported languages.
