Description

Signup on Ubuntu ARM system using a Google Voice number produces seven different captchas, followed by a prompt for a six digit code. That code never arrives, so just give it 123456 to see what happens. Stop and restart Axolotl and it asks for a username. Upon looking in settings to get the version, it reports that it's using the Google Voice number, despite never authenticating it. There's no way to add a contact using their symbolic name. Adding using a valid U.S. phone number with Signal does not result in the creation of a contact.

This is a VERY interesting project, I'd make immediate use of it if I could get it to run. Is the use of a Google Voice number the sticking point?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Buy a Raspberry Pi 5
  2. Install Axolotl
  3. Complete seven captchas
  4. Wait forever for SMS message on Google Voice.

Please provide the Version as written in Settings->About Axolotl
