Killing a Deku Baba and picking up the dropped Deku Stick or Deku Nuts seems to show the initial pickup message, even if you already have the items in question.

Rupees don't seem to have this issue. I currently do not know about other items.

After extensive testing, it seems that this issue only applies to Deku Sticks and Nuts, regardless of source.

At least, you can use this to perform GIM whenever you want if you happen to lose the Ocarina of Time with the Bomb Bag glitch (Issue #2).

The latest dev build fixes the pickup message problem. Now it only plays once for both nuts and sticks. Latest build also fixes Bomb Bag Ocarina issue as well.
