Sometimes I ask people to introduce me to another person. They often ask for a blurb about Azavea.

These sometimes require some customization. But here is an example I used recently before attending a conference....

Hey Kristin,

Glad I reached out! Looking forward to catching up tomorrow. And great that you can connect me with a colleague. Thanks for the offer. Here is [the blurb you requested]:

"Ross works at Azavea, a geospatial software company in Philadelphia. They specialize in geospatial software and data analytics with a focus on social and environmental impact. Azavea does a lot of work with satellite imagery analysis, machine learning, and custom web application for geospatial data analysis and visualization. And Ross is interested in trying to figure out how Azavea's expertise can support international development work. He is heading to MERL Tech on Thursday and the Big Data Workshop on Wednesday"

I usually dig through my email to look at the last time I sent something and modify it. Would it be appropriate or helpful to anyone else to include something like this on the branding website? Perhaps with a few modifications depending on context? This one was for an international development conference with an interest in satellite imagery...
