A low retail score of 9% in Burlington, VT prompted me to dig into the algorithm a bit.
If I’m reading this correctly, it seems the query requiring the landuse:retail OSM tag is very limiting.

Could that be expanded to include other reasonable tags such as building:retail or shop?
