Just a small suggestion, but when I created my profile just now, I entered my
handle for twitter, fb, and linkedin, but when i tried to save, i was
required to add the twitter.com, facebook.com and linkedin.com to the
beginning? It would seem pretty straightforward to just ask for the handle
and fill out the rest from there. Also, a hint below explaining either way
would be sufficient as well, but there was not one.

@jenlampton have you tried tackling this one yet? I was feeling froggy so I took a look tonight and tried to think of how I'd approach this. I couldn't find anything to reference with this functionality, even though I know it exists and have seen it before. Just can't remember where. My initial thought was to modify the json file and change the validation_pattern's to domain and then changing that throughout the module, but was thinking it would just do the same thing with a different name. I'm sure this issue isn't a super high priority but if you get a chance to tackle it sometime I'd love to hear your thoughts about how you'd approach it. Or maybe point me in a direction.

Thanks. :)
