VR Apartment

This was my submission for "assignment 2" of the Udacity VR Nanodegree. It's an apartment that can be viewed in VR using a Google Cardboard or similar. The floor plan and most of the models were given, and the project consisted in arranging the furniture and lightning.

Usage

Start the application and insert your phone in the Cardboard. Every button press teleports you to one of the four waypoints. The globe stops and starts spinning for every button press.

How to build

  • Clone this repository
  • Open vr-apartment in Unity
  • Download the Google VR SDK for Unity version 1.0.3. Note that other versions of the GVR SDK won't work
  • Unzip the GVR SDK archive and import GoogleVRForUnity.unitypackage in Unity
  • Accept when asked to update the APIs for compatibility
  • Build for your chosen target

Tested with Unity 5.5f and iOS 10 on an iPhone 6s
