Describe what you want to implement and what the issue & the steps to reproduce it are:
I am experiencing frequent dropouts when using a USB 3.0 camera (daA1280-54um) connected via a USB 2.0 cable.
Failed to open device '\?
\usb #vid_2676&pid_ba038mi_00#8821edc97d&0&0000# (79bfeeca-947f-11e1- bc58-001b2163ef96)' for XML file download. Error: 'Failed to read the first register (maximum device response time). This can be caused by problems with the USB h
The issue seems to be related to the insufficient bandwidth of USB 2.0 to handle the camera's data stream. I have tried adjusting some parameters in Pylon Viewer (such as USB packet size, buffer count, and frame rate), but the dropouts persist. A temporary workaround involves reducing the camera's performance, but switching to a USB 3.0 cable appears necessary for a complete resolution.
Questions:
Are there additional parameters in Pylon Viewer or Pylon API to optimize USB 2.0 communication with this camera?
Could the camera's firmware or drivers be updated to better handle this situation?
Do you have any recommendations to avoid these dropouts without switching to a USB 3.0 cable?
Thank you for your assistance!
