Hello,

Does anyone know how to change the local audio output? At the moment the audio is coming out of HDMI but I would like to use 3.5mm aux.

Thank you!

Hi @jussbba

You can change the output in addon Mopidy page.
But i did the test but it's not changing from HDMI output to the 3.5mm Headphone connection.
I think it's an bug.

Hello,

Thank you for the information. I only have snapcast client addon installed and mopidy server is running on another PI.

I was wondering if it is possible through snapcast client but maybe mopidy or vlc is required.

Hello jussbba,

You can control it with MPD
https://docs.mopidy.com/en/latest/ext/mpd/

Or with the web addon
https://docs.mopidy.com/en/latest/ext/web/

If you are running mopidy server on standalone raspberry pi.
You can change the audio easily.

Check the link below:
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/audio-config.md

But we have to find example to get it to work.

You can also check my post : How to build a spotify or radio stream ✓ Alarmclock wakup? With hassio / modipy get here the tips . I hope people are willing to help us. And get our home automation sound system to work

Thank you!

I have 4 raspberry Pi’s for multiroom audio (spotify). One has mopidy + snapcast server + snapcast client and the rest are running only snapcast clients. And I can control all of them through Home Assistant. (Volume, playlists etc.)

I just need to figure out how to change the input in my Home Assistant Pi to aux. Right now it is playing through hdmi. Maybe through ssh.

HI @jussbba can you share you're config file? I like to set a alarm in Hassio to wake up with Spotfiy and after a period of time play a radio stream to hear the latest news. I hope you can help me out.

Hello, I am no longer using this setup. I am running LMS (logitech media server) and picoreplayers on spare raspberry pis. I suggest you to check it out.
