A week-long collaborative event called " API Week " focussed to promote API literacy through challenges, supported by Postman. It consists of the following:
- Technical sessions led by verified Postman Student Leaders & working professionals
- Take-home task while collecting useful Postman dashboard knowledge
- Accessible virtual workshops at any time and from any location
- Postman swags with a special gift hamper for winners
- Postman student expert certification & benefits

What is the API Week?
API Week is a virtual event that spans a week and is backed by Postman. The sessions will be led by Postman Student Leaders and professionals in the industry.
What is the purpose of API Week?
The purpose of API Week is to promote API literacy among students through a series of challenges that provide hands-on experience and practical applications for APIs. The goal is to help students become more proficient in using APIs and to prepare them for future careers in technology.
Is there a cost to participate in the API Week?
No, there is no cost to participate in API Week as it is a free virtual event.
Who can participate in API Week?
API Week is open to all students who are interested in learning about APIs and their applications.
How does the API Week's Challenge for students work?
During API Week's Challenge, students are required to undertake various activities that involve experimenting with APIs and Postman workspaces to improve their skills. Students are required to finish the challenges before the upcoming event date to be eligible to participate in the final event (except in the case of an extended session). However, the deadline for the final challenge submission is April 22nd.
Can this extended session be considered as the deadline for challenge 2?
TLDR; No, this is a special session aimed at helping those who are beginners and transitioning to the intermediate level. It is focused on providing a deeper understanding of the topic and is not a deadline for challenge 2. Nevertheless, it assists you in coping with difficulties.
