Hi, sorry to open an issue but I figured this was the easiest way to contact you. This module looks great, just wondering if it's been used successfully 'in production'?

Thanks for making this available,
Geoff

I contacted the author of this module a while back. Bitfloor was a Bitcoin exchange that closed last April. So nach is not being updated or maintained, as far as I know. I'm currently the tech lead at a financial startup where we use the ACH network. We re-coded a brand new ACH library (after trying out nach) for Node.js. We'd really like to open source it ASAP. Here's the actual response I got regarding nach and it being production-ready back at the beginning of November last year (2013):

ready for production" is a tough call. I used it in production, just depends on what you mean by that really. There isn't much documentation but it works and should be easy enough to hack on and read some of the code. Reasonable patches are always welcome!

And a later response after further inquiry:

I think it will work fine for that use case. The library worked fine for me for months. Some testing, documentation, and maybe fixing a few rough edges would make it more than capable.

Hope that helps!

Thanks glenselle! It's a huge help. This is basically what I was hoping to hear.

If you're inclined to publish that new module you'll find your first beta users here :)
