Can not enable system authentication(unlock with biometric) on bitwarden extension

Steps To Reproduce

1. Go to extension
2. Click on settings then account security
3. Click on unlock with biometric and i get the error below even tho my desktop app is set up.

Expected Result

enable unlock with biometric

This only happens with chromium browsers i have tried chrome, thorium and chromium but on firefox it works as expected

Hi there,

Thank you for this report. Could you please turn the (Enable browser integration) function off and back on, and then review the app.log file and let me know what you find there? Is the desktop client unable to write any values to activate that function for all browsers?

*Edit:

1. How did you install that Bitwarden desktop client?
2. Is the Bitwarden desktop client active (open) when you attempt to unlock the Chrome extension using biometrics?

I installed the bitwarden client from bitwarden site using .deb file
and yes client is open

After following your instructions it now works with google chrome, but will not work with Brave, Thorium or Chromium
