Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open Bitwarden.
  2. Type a character that is produced using a dead key modifier, for example the character ä, into the password field.
  3. Make the masked characters visible to see the typed password.

Expected Result

The character ä.

Actual Result

The character a.

Additional Context

I am using an US-International keyboard layout. To write out some characters like ä I have to first type " and afterwards a to produce this character, because my keyboard does not have a dedicated key for that. So certain characters are produced typing a sequence of characters. Such dead keys are the one to type quotes (", and ') or grave accent and tilde (~, and `) for example.

The password field does not recognize this if the characters are masked, but just inserts the last character in that sequence.
If the characters in the password field are shown, the sequence works as expected.
It works as expected with the Firefox addon.
