make downloaded photos visible to the normal gallery app #47

Project looks stale to me. I was initially excited when I show this project |
I dunno... 4 months is not a long time in the grand scheme of things, I wouldn't call this stale.
I answered there.
It's all pretty good stuff! I didn't try the photoprism-mobile app because it seems to say it doesn't work with the latest photoprism, should i try that instead? |
There is a workaround to use the custom unofficial db-api docker image instead of the official photoprism image It is with that image photoprism-mobile cant load images when doting long time jumps in the feed With their legacy apk its even worse |
On my phone, I use photoprism to have access to my entire (500GB) library of photographs, and MobilePrism makes this a breeze: I can just load up all the photo's thumbnails and see the bigger versions pretty transparently. It's really nice!
One thing that would be also nice would be to have the larger photos visible outside the app. That would enable many other functionalities that you might not necessarily want to implement yourself like editing, sharing (although I opened #46 for that specific feature), printing, showing details and so on...
I'm not sure how this works in Android anymore. Right now it doesn't seem like images downloaded by MobilePrism are visible outside the app, but I could be mistaken.
