solving 'tunnel mtu problems" for bmx6 too

tunnel mtu problems are being discussed/solved here: bmx-routing/bmx7#30

I see that the commits are very neat.

If the tunnel structure is the same from bmx6 to bmx7 would be possible to make it work on bmx6 or it would be a lot of work?
