ROI entry - Digital Out - state stuck.

I have made a typical workflow where when mouse enters in a ROI the digital out gets trigger (part in the black box.). The experiment duration is controlled by a timer it starts with a key press. It worked until now. Hundreds of trials it was fine, until recently, i found a bug.
When animal is in the ROI the digital out is triggered but then the experiment ends before the Digital out came back to its normal "off" condition the mouse keep on getting shocked if he is in ROI or not, since digital out is on? Is there a fail-safe for this to never happen again. The workflow is a segment of an elaborate protocol so attaching an Image of the workflow.
