Nice project idea! I've never dealt with multi-site data, but it seems like a very relevant problem now, as people are trying to get bigger datasets. Have you thought about how you might evaluate the effectiveness of the different site harmonization techniques? Perhaps you haven't specified this because you said you'd only compare them if you had time, but I'd be curious to know your ideas if you've considered it!

Thanks, that's an interesting question. It's one I've decided to put off for now. I'm doing some reading and have a couple of ideas, but for now I'm focused on getting it working with my data, while learning the tools that we've been introduced to. I'll keep the issue open, though, because it's an important question, and loop you in when I've been able to think about it some more.
It might be even more complicated on vertex-wise data, which I'd like to try as well. But one thing at a time!
