Issue Description

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Browser: Firefox 88.0
Find+ does not find anything on a "View Page Source" page. It doesn't indicate that 0 (or any other number of) matches were found, indicating it didn't perform the search at all.
I did a search of your issues for "source", but couldn't find anything similar in the results.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Choose a web page and open it in Firefox.
  • Open the context menu (right-click) and select "View Page Source".
  • Bring up the Find+ search box and attempt to search for something.
Alternatively, prepending "view-source:" to a URL in the Firefox address bar will take you to the same page.

I'm having the same issue and it would a very useful feature to add.

This is actually something I looked into a few years ago, but browser extensions don't run on these pages (and several others), presumably for security reasons. It's not something I can implement, my hands are tied.
