Issue Rendering Default Fork

Good morning,

I am attempting to use this template in English for a book I have writing (it looks amazing!). I am in the process of translating the comments and other scripts. Before doing that, I forked the project and attempted to run the current project on Windows 7 x64.

I am running into issues when I attempt knitting the index.Rmd file. The issue arises on line 8

Not being familiar with this level of script, do you have any suggestions?

it seems that it should be,

Sys.setlocale(category = "LC_TIME", locale = 'en_US.UTF-8')

I add localdate= in the head of this line for not show the Sys.setlocale()'s result

If your OS is in English Language Environment, you can remove this line.

Thank you that fixed my issue. Do you have any other suggestions for an English speaking programmer on using this (using Windows)?

I am doing my best to read thru the code, specifically 802-appendix-makebook.Rmd to compile the book.

Would love to compliment to this great release.

happy spring festival. if written in english, it must be a good idea. I think I can add one option for language selection. I am busy in those days, later I will add english support.

I had added English Support. You can add 'english' in index.Rmd like those.
