I would like the ability to global filter away the metadata. This can be easily achieved by nesting them under a tag.
It would be nice if there is an option to use single page for metadata and create blocks there, instead of a new page per pdf. Is there any potential problem in using roam/js/pdf page alone and creating a parent block per pdf?

Good point re tags for meta data. Will add that.
For the 2nd point: did so after discussion with the roam team about the performance.
