JSON Pretty Printer sometimes does nothing

I've hit this a dozen times or so... opening a son blob in inspector and hitting the JSON PP formatter has just removed all content and caused the machine to emit a beep (like terminal bell). Nothing useful has been output to the window.

Most commonly this has been on output that has been formatted before. EG: query 10 rows, look at row 1, look at row 2, look at row 3, go back to look at row 1 again... 💥
