The command is included in the "debian-goodies" package and it's purpose is to find the dbgsym packages for a given binary or a crash dump (executable). It would be good to find out whether it's possible to use it for crash dumps.
mkg@mustafa-laptop:/workspace/github/hotkdump$ find-dbgsym-packages ~/Downloads/dump.202403281157
eu-readelf: failed reading '/home/mkg/Downloads/dump.202403281157': not a valid ELF file
"eu-readelf" unexpectedly returned exit value 1 at /usr/bin/find-dbgsym-packages line 400.
I wonder if it would work for the kernel crash dumps if we're able to point it to the ELF header part of the kernel crash dump.
