#1 assumes a URL for the Gitea installation. In practice, this didn't work during testing due to different URLs being used (but not consistently configured on Pi and in Gitea (?)), e.g., carpentriesoffline.org, carpentries-offline.org. So currently, git clone http://carpentriesoffline.org:3000/vlad/planets.git etc. failed during tests in an offline setting.

To fix this, consistently use the same domain across the whole Pi setup.
