support "NO_CHECK" flags and --no-check option

Doing error checking when parsing a genders file can be very costly. If there was a way to not do the check, it could improve performance. This is especially the case when users use nodeattr possibly multiple times in a script. If the first nodeattr runs fine, there's no need to do all the expensive checking on later instances.
