Isn't it just a matter of time, before this module dies out?

This module requires the fingerprint of old phones, which are a limited finite amount. Google has been banning these fingerprints. Sooner or later they'll ban most fingerprints, if not all.

We'll soon reach a point where just a few lucky users will be able to use this module, using some the fingerprints of some rare devices, never published on the web. Or maybe Google will just ban all the older fingerprints and this module will never work for anyone again.

It's just a matter of time. Isn't it? How long until this module is dead?

Are there any other solutions planned or getting developed to solve this issue without requiring some magic fingerprints that can easily get banned?

My opinion

Fingerprints will continue to be used for the "Meets test" at least until 2025, i.e. until Safetynet is completely eliminated.

Fingerprints removed in the latest version (v15.2) to make it more difficult to ban fingerprints.
