datatables view showing blank page and no table - missing CSRF token #155

When creating a table view using the datatables_view plugin, there is just a large blank area where a table should be.

Firefox web developer tool shows error:

DataTables error msg: DataTables warning: table id=dtprv - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7

I went through the debug steps in http://datatables.net/tn/7 which suggests the server response as:
