Hi,
I can't stop myself to keep thinking back about this project. I really like the idea, it's not seen before, the demo works, but you aren't active on github nor on the lisp world any more :S I hope you'll carry on !

@vindarel - thanks! I haven't stopped, although I got sick of GTK and went down the rabbithole that goes really, really deep. I have since evolved and rewritten this dozens of times in various ways, with the last one being close to a re-implementation of the Self language with lispier semantics. So, on the positive note - I have not given up; on the negative - I've gone completely up the ass so deep that I think I can see clouds.
However, the demo does work, and in fact is quite usable for simpler applications. Feel free to email me at [email protected].

Yay, such a surprising and exciting answer^^ I'm glad we still have a great lisper amongst us and that you're following your ideas!
