Does dnd-kit next/experimental currently improve unnecessary re-renders and other performance improvements or has that not been added yet

I know @clauderic mentioned here that there would be performance enhancements regarding unnecessary re-renders (#1071, #994, #898 #943). I am prioritizing some work and would like to know if anyone has experienced improvements (notably with a sortable lists) so I can prioritize a migration now or wait until the future. Thank you!
