Need better documentation for topical vis/map of science

Is there any documentation on how to use the Make A Vis tool or it's solely trial and error?

After struggling for quite a bit on how to get the Subdiscipline ID into the Identifier, I finally figured out the issue. When adding data to the Subdiscipline Points (Area) under Select Graphic Symbol Type, you must drag and drop Subdisciplines from that SAME section. Dragging and dropping from the ISI Publications sections in the top left will not work.

The Make a Vis tool has many great things, but this was not intuitive (at least to me.)
