Online payment portal for city fees/bills

I parked in a taxicab parking space last Friday and didn't realize it, which landed me a parking ticket. My ticket doesn't list a way to pay online. As a result, I've had to find my checkbook and ask my HR dept for an envelope to pay my ticket.

We could help the city set up an online payment portal for city fees/bills.

My only concern on something like this is security. Last thing we would want is credit card info leaking due to a solution we implemented.

But, I'm sure there are some really well done CC processing things we could tie into that kind of takes it out of our hands. The downside is we would lose the transparency of that system and would only be able to open source our wrapper site around them.
