Improve system for inputting student grades

I had to help my wife enter grades for her students for this past semester. She works for Huntsville City Schools. It was a slow process. Each student had to be entered manually for all semesters, and there was no way to say “Give everyone an A, then I’ll adjust the ones that need it”. She has approximately 1200 students across 3 schools so this process took about 4 hours. No hotkeys were available. This is the system used by the entire school district.
