Hi,

It seems that laconica now supports the Twitter API so it should be
possible to use Tweetero to update identi.ca or some other install of
laconica simply by allowing the URL to be configured.

Thanks,
Andrew McMillan (@_karora).

There already seems to be an app for identi.ca that appears to use Tweetero:
http://itunes.apple.com/app/ident/id324187228?mt=8
(I didn't really try it as it doesn't support OpenID, unfortunately)
