Hi folks.

This is just a suggestion motivated for a bug reported against pychef server in Debian.

https://bugs.debian.org/751058

In Debian, we enabled unit tests during build time to test the library but when automated tests are ran on pbuilder nodes without network access, they obviously fail.

Indeed, this has been on the list since chef-zero came out, just haven't had the cycles.

Also an alternative solution would be to make a minimal, embedded version of Commis that can be used for testing so it can run in-process.
