Add citation guidance? #61

Thanks for the very good question. We need to clarify this better. Work in progress: https://coderefinery.org/blog/2021/11/21/towards-citable-lessons/ Until then, the best thing for us is if we could link to the derivative work here: https://coderefinery.org/lessons/reusing/ so that we can show to our funders that this is useful. Thanks again for using it and all suggestions really welcome on how to improve it. |
Thank you for that information and I'll look out for DOIs in the future 😊 |
Your question re-ignited the topic and reminded me that this was still not done so hopefully we will have a better mechanism soon. Also any ideas/contributions most welcome to the topic of cite-ability but also to this lesson. |
Oh nice ✨ I do like the "How to cite" section of the Turing Way, perhaps that's a helpful example? Full disclosure, I am a core member of the Turing Way 😅 There's also been very extensive conversation at the Turing Way about how to acknowledge all contributions. See Community and shared ownership and Record of contributions! |
Thank you for pointing this out! |
Hi! I've found these materials really useful and would like to reuse some of them, but it's not really clear how to cite them. Would it be possible to add instructions on how to do that? Thank you again for creating this resource 🤩
