savvycan does not install

downloaded savvycan from the website, clicked extract all, clicked savvycan application at the bottom of the list of new folders, it only tries to extract all the same folders again, the actual program never opens. anyone run into this issue before, or what am i missing?

downloaded from github, thanks.. now i purchased the savvycan-fd-xe dual port, now connecting to the can high and low circuit. device does not connect. connection tab to create a connection but i do not see the device in the list? using the supplied usb cord to the laptop. updated drivers are installed, device manager displays no conflicts. i dont understand what steps i need to go thru to create a connection. there isnt much info available least that i have found to walk a user through. any assistance is greatly appreciated. my only goal is just to see the raw can data..
