May be resolved for the time being by having located WitMotion's own tools for rapid conversion of their binary files to CSV files (until then, as I understand it, conversion was being done in a way that was real-time (or close thereto) to the speed at which the logging was done: not convenient) but we may want still find reasons for having our own tools for doing these conversions. I wouldn't put a lot of additional work into this now that we found their tools but I did write up the beginnings of a tool for this before that discovery was and will use the issue and a branch associated with it to share that in case the need crops up again.
