i was trying to install it but i get an error

i found a workaround for anyone insterested

first you install laravel as usual
composer create-project --prefer-dist laravel/laravel project "10."
cd project
then install
composer require yajra/laravel-datatables:^10.0 (you need to configure your .env with an existing database first)
then modify your composer.json

},
and finally install jig
composer require savannabits/jetstream-inertia-generator
