This may be OP. Need to think about it. Comment from Fuzzy on discord:
one thing I'm worried about for the games long term playability is a current(?) lack of paradigm shifts
like in wizards and minion idle you unlock adventure/your pet, alchemy lab, slime adventure
tons of different avenues of progress that all affect your stage level in different ways
as well as the steep climb at the beginning of each run that makes you have to tend to the game fairly frequently for an idler
insight also does this
each point of insight spent does very little and takes a lot spent to amount to any benefit
but it caps in the single digits for a whole day of play
a two birds with one stone approach could be an upgrade section that persists through playthroughs that automates resource spending
like idle space raider has
you have to spend resources to affect how many upgrades are bought at once and how frequently the auto buyer "ticks"
as well as the maximum level of upgrades that can be bought through automation
could call it A.I lab or something
