As a developer who isn't unfamiliar with authorization and authentication, I would like to know how @curveball/a12n-server fits within the landscape of current authentication tools, so that I can understand why and how this would be a good choice for my project.

  • Why might a developer want to use an OAuth2/OIDC-compliant service?

  • Why use an OSS resource?

  • How does a12n-server compare to similar competitors or services in the same space?
