We are building a Graphical MUD wintin.net client in Xenko (upstream) and Unity 3d production. With the goal of in 5 years Unity is removed from production branch and only MIT Xenko remains. The wintin.net handles much of the standard MUD/MU* protocols and is licensed under the SourceForge artistic license.

This is a two part question to the authors of the code here. In accordance with the GPL, in order to use any part of meridian59-dotnet in our graphical MUD client we would need exception to do so granted from the various code authors.

Of course we can answer any further questions but for efficiency all we ask is if you are a code author here, and you are fine with allowing the exception to state so in this thread.

The short term goal would be to look at the the code here, learn from it and port it to a library and then dual license the library as GPL/MIT going forward of any code I write for the project.
