Transfer of name nominatim on PyPI?

I'm the maintainer of https://github.com/osm-search/Nominatim, the geocoding software this library talks to. We are planning to publish Nominatim packages on PyPI later this year. It would be great to be able to do this under the nominatim name.

This library looks largely unmaintained. Would it therefore be possible to transfer control of the nominatim name on PyPI to the Nominatim project?
